# Team

Manage who can access your Spaces

You create your team by sending invitations from the PairSpaces web application.

## Create a Team

Navigate to [Members](https://pairspaces.com/organizations/members).

### Members page before inviting teammates

An empty Members page provides an Add Members action for sending the first invitation to a teammate.

If you haven't invited a team member to work with click `Add Members`. Enter their email address and a role you want them to have.

### Invite a team member

The invitation form accepts a teammate's email address and lets you assign the Admin, Billing, or Member role before sending the invitation.

The roles you can choose are:

- `Admin`. The administrator role provides read/write access to Spaces and Members.

- `Billing`. The billing role provides read access to Billing in Settings and can access invoices only.

- `Member`. The member role provides read/write access to Spaces.

When you add a team member they receive an email. The email contains a link that completes their account setup. Initially, you will see their account status as `Invited`.

### Pending team invitation

The Members table shows an invited teammate with an Invited status until they complete their account setup.

When they set up their account, they are able to access your PairSpaces Organization as a member of your team. Their status changes from `Invited` to `Member`.

### Accepted team invitation

After account setup, the Members table shows the teammate as an active Member of the Organization.
